Quadricycle the First Ford Car

This little machine was based on a simple chassis with a tool box seat, 4 bicycle wheels and tiller steering. Powered by a two cylinder engine of Henry Fords own design, which produced four horsepower and a speed of 20 miles an hour. No brakes or reverse gears were used on this 1st vehicle. As a matter of fact the first time this little car stopped was because it broke down with an ignition problem. Ford was not to give up over a small problem like that and went on to develop many fine automobiles as we well know

Diecast Model Ford

Diecast Model Ford< a new series of articles for the Ford fan. During the next few weeks you will be seeing some new things here. I have been away from Blogging for awhile due to my offline business but I am now back on track and making time for what I truly like to do, helping my readers learn about collecting diecast models. I plan to start with a little history on the various Ford models and the company in general. Chevy fans don't worry, I will be working on those too, I did have a hard time deciding which to start with first( flip a coin still works ). Please stop by often to see whats new, thanks for the visit Roger

Winners Circle Nascar Diecast

Winners Circle Nascar Diecast is another of my favorite builders of diecast models. Great detail and finish and reasonalbly priced. You can find these diecast model cars in many retail stores and hobby shops but I still find my best buys on ebay. A recent purchase of mine led to meeting another collector near me. I got to see his collection of diecast motorcycles and airplanes, all I could say is WoW. Over 50 great models. The internet has been a great place for me to meet collectors and new customers for my collectibles.

Diecast Model Car Collecting on A Small Budget

For the small budget collector the best to begin is with the small scale diecast models, such as the hot wheels line. There is a huge number of cars trucks and customs to pick from. The newer models are cheaply priced and easy to find. A trip to a discount store or ebay can show you whats available. As money and space permits you can start searching for the older and more rare models to fit your needs.Hot Wheels

1949 Mercury diecast

One of my favorite cars of all time is the 49 Merc. I just found two models at a yard sale, 1949 Mercury convertible and 1949 Mercury coupe from Hawk the Washington Mint Ultra Metal Series. Nice addition to my early cars collection and I got them cheap complete with boxes and chrome stands. If your into early cars leave a comment and tell me what you have Thanks1949 Merc

Corgi Diecast Models

Corgi Diecast Models are a very popular line of diecast models. Some of my favorites are the military and aircraft models of the WW2 era. This company has a teriffic range of this type diecast model. they also have produced many versions of buses which have become very collectible along with the trucks cars they make. Since 1956 Corgi has been one of the leaders of well detailed diecast model car producers. More on specific models soon, thanks for the visit Roger
